Two poems by Chrissie Challenor.

"SAFE"

Keep calling Lord Jesus

Your Voice is so clear,

Although I have wandered

I feel you draw near.

Though ninety-nine others

Are safe in Your fold

You’ve left them to find me

Your Love I’ll behold.

I hear you Lord Jesus

Hear me when I call,

And carry me homewards

You won’t let me fall.

You’ve found me Lord Jesus,

Your arms hold me near.

No more now I’ll wander

There’s nothing to fear.

"Questions and Answers"

(For Easter)

What are those marks upon your brow?

"Nothing evil will harm you now."

Why is there blood upon your side?

"Your name is written deep inside."

Are those scars upon your palms?

"For you I opened wide my arms."

Your feet are scarred and bloody too.

"My child, they show my Love for you."

This is the Man Who was crucified,

For our sake He lived and died.

He suffered so that we might live,

He taught that we must too forgive.

The wounds He bore were wounds of Love,

In Glory now He reigns above.
