Miracle taking place  A testimony – By Dave Howe – 18^th Feb 2003.

 

Yesterday was an incredible day – I was waiting for Tim to pick me up at 10.am so I could help him with some computers.

 

When I heard him arrive I just picked up my bag and walked strait out the door With Out Picking Up My Crutches.

 

I did not realise what had happened until I was about to get into Tim’s car – Then it hit me – I said “look at this – Do you see this – Wow” I then got into his car.

 

I was at Tim’s until about 5.pm – Going up and down stairs with No Pain – Just normal tiredness at the end of the day.

 

I can get about in my house without crutches at times but outside on the street there was no way because of the uneven hard ground – This I had tried before and could not stand outside without my crutches – Also would have to stop and sit down even using my crutches  – Would be very tried and in pain when I got back home.

 

Over the last few months my leg have been getting stronger – There have been little bursts of increasing strength – But what happen yesterday was well – Wow – Incredible.

 

Over the years my leg have slowly lost their strength due to bad hip – In 1994 I had to leave work.

 

In November 2000 my leg just froze suddenly when I was upstairs – Just got to the phone before I was stuck – I could not move and the pain was incredible – I was frightened - I called for help and my wife and another friend came – The pain eased up a bit and was taken to the doctors – By this time I could walk again I little – The Doctor gave me some pills and said he would send me to a specialist.

 

That night I was due to preach at a fellowship in Ramsgate – When the pastor came to pick me up my leg started to freeze again in the car.

 

We got to fellowship – They got me into a chair – Again I was frozen – My leg could not move and the pain was back.

 

The pastor said – I am going call an ambulance” – I said “no wait until after I preach” – He said – “This must be good as the devil is trying to stop you”.

So I lead worship and preached stuck in a chair at the front of the fellowship – I then had a cup of tea while waiting for the ambulance.

The joke I made up was – Preacher preaches in church and is taken out to ambulance – What did he preach.

 

I spent the next 9 days in hospital as they got my pain under control.

At this time I could only walk with Zimmer frames – Had to be very careful.

After a few visits to the specialist the doctors said that would have to have a new hip – An old pin would have come out and my leg stretched – This they could not be done in the local hospital due to complications – There would have to be 2 or 3 ops.

 

 

They sent me to a specialist in London who happened to be the top surgeon for hips in the country – She looked at the x rays and said  “I can do this op in one go”.

 

May 17^th 2001 was the date the op was to take place – Just two weeks before the op I was called in for pre op health tests – On one of the tests I was told they thought they found something wrong with my heart – The op was called off.

Also have skin problems – And a bad eye.

 

After many other tests on my heart – The main one on Jan 27^th 2003 in London – My heart was given a clean bill of health.

So at this time I am waiting for a letter telling me when the op would take place.

 

I have had words given me that I would not need this op – And as I wrote above something is happening – Some time ago I thought – It would be nice if all that has happened with my leg went into reverse – And just like it went wrong in bursts then suddenly froze – The same would happen in reverse and I would be able to walk normally suddenly.

 

Well those bursts have been happening – With a big one yesterday – Not long now before I can say this  – Yippee – A Miracle Has Taken Place - I Can Walk – Praise God – God Has Healed Me. – It Is Finished.

 

Just to finish – All this trouble with my leg started when I was 5 - One of the only things I remember from then is seeing a vision of a cross with people around it – At that time I should have died I was told  - Then after that “you will never walk” Other things they told me as I got older “you will never have a normal life – You are not normal” – never work - Get married and so on.

 

At school I wanted to do physics – Things like that but they would not let me – Not got the ability I was told – bullied and so on.

It seemed like once those in authority had made up their minds then everything was done to stop me from doing those things.

 

But despite what the experts say – Here I am -  Have worked until my leg stopped me Been married 21 years and done all things I was told I could not do – I fix/build computers as a hobby – Now have a home fellowship – Going to the USA in October for a Holiday.

 

A saying I have is – I don’t know what I am doing, But God does.

God has done much – Is doing more – And the best is yet to Come

 

A miracle is taking place.
