The Water of Encouragement.

Reading - ISAIAH Ch - 43 v-19 - 21.

See I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; Do you not perceive it ?.

I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

The wild animals honour me, The jackals and the owls, Because I provide water in the desert, And streams in the wasteland, To give drink to my people, My chosen, The people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.

The Bible says that we should encourage each other dally in the Lord.

For Encouragement is like water in a dry and thirsty land.

We live in land that puts people down and walks all over them.

We should talk each other up instead of putting down like the world does, Talk people up to the Lord, Yes lift them up to the Lord.

We should be like springs in the desert having the opposite spirit of the world, Having the spirit and attitude of Christ within us.

When we see someone who is going through a bad time we should encourage them in anyway we can.

Who knows the Lord may give you word of scripture for them or even a prophetic word for them, Be open to the Lord on how to do things for he is the great encourager.

The Bible says that a word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. ( Proverbs ch 25 v 11 ).

So let us go forth and give those apples of gold in setting of silver for this is the Word of the Lord.

Yes let us be springs of encouragement to those around us, Be it our brothers and sisters in the Lord and to those that do not believe as yet. Who knows that word you give them may lead them to the Lord.

Let us speak hymns, psalms and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts towards God and to each other. Yes let us sing the song of the Lord to each other. Yes let the Word of the Lord dwell in you richly encouraging one another for the day of the Lord is close and hand.

Let us spur one another on to finish the race that is before us.

Do you know that therefore, There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, Because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life has set me, Set You free from the law of sin and death, Yes Set you free. Now that should encourage you. ( Romans 8 v 1 ).

When Jesus went back up to heaven he said that he would send the comforter the Holy Spirit.

Do you know that as well as being the comforter the Holy Spirit is also an encourager for to be a comforter is to be an encourager.

So when we comfort someone we are also encouraging them.

Do you know that there is a great cloud of witnesses in heaven, Those that have gone before us cheering us on.

Just think of it we have all the prophets like Jeremiah, Samuel, Joel and the apostles like Luke, John, Peter, Mark and James all cheering us on in that great cloud of witnesses but most of all we have our Lord and savour Jesus Christ who is praying for us before the Fathers throne in heaven. Praying for you at this very moment.

In Hebrews ( ch 12 v 1-3 ) the Bible says - Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, The author and prefecture of our faith, Who for the joy set before him endured the Cross, Scorning its shame, And sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, So that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Yes look to Jesus, Be encouraged and do not lose heart for he is with you.

The Bible says that we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. ( Romans ch 8 v 37 ).

Yes Let us be encouraged for he, Jesus is for us who can be against us.

So let us be encouraged and let us encourage each other daily for this is the will of the Lord.

The Word of God says in Hebrews 10 v 24 - 25 that we should consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, As some are in the habit of doing, But let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the day approaching, Also where 1 or 2 are gathered in my name, There am I in the mist of you My people says the Lord.

Yes Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters, Loving each other as the Lord loves you. For that is the will of your heavenly father.

Yes build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit says the Lord.

Remember a word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in setting of silver.

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else. Just as ours does for you. Just as my love does for you says the Lord.

May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

Lets Give the water of encouragement to each other.

For from out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of living water - The living water of my son - For I am the living water says the Lord.

End reading - Ephesians Ch - 3 v - 16 - 21.

I PRAY THAT OUT OF HIS GLORIOUS RICHES HE MAY STRENGTHEN YOU WITH POWER THROUGH HIS SPIRIT IN YOUR INNER BEING, SO THAT CHRIST MAY DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS THROUGH FAITH.

AND I PRAY THAT YOU, BEING ROOTED AND ESTABLISHED IN LOVE, MAY HAVE POWER, TOGETHER WITH ALL THE SAINTS, TO GRASP HOW DEEP IS THE LOVE OF CHRIST, AND TO KNOW THIS LOVE THAT SURPASSES KNOWLEDGE - THAT YOU MAY BE FILLED TO THE MEASURE OF ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD.

NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO IMMEASURABLY MORE THAN ALL WE ASK OR IMAGINE, ACCORDING TO HIS POWER THAT IS AT WORK WITHIN US, TO HIM BE GLORY IN THE CHURCH AND IN CHRIST JESUS THROUGHOUT ALL GENERATIONS, FOR EVER AND EVER ! AMEN.
