Glory n worship.

 

No one can see Gods Glory with the eye of the flesh and live.

Our flesh cannot stand before God and live for the flesh cannot worship God.

 

That’s why we have to, are commanded to worship the Lord in Sprit and Truth.

For Spirit knows spirit.  (John Ch 4 – V 23 – 24.)

 

The flesh has to die or dies when we worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth.

If the flesh still lives then we have not worshiped the Lord in Spirit and Truth – Our sacrifice will not be an acceptable offering to the Lord if we withhold our all from the Lord.

 

If we look at Cain and Abel, Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord but the Lord did not except Cain’s offering of worship for his offering was of the world, of the flesh, For he did not give his all, His heart being set on things of the flesh.

 

But Abel brought fat portions from some of the first born of his flock.

The Lord looked with favour on Abel and his offering, But on Cain and his offering he did not look with favour.

So Cain was very angry, And his face was downcast.

 

Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast?

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; It desires to have you, But you must master it.”

 

Cain later murdered his brother Abel.   – (Genesis Ch 4 – V 3 to 8.)

 

So we see the fruit of the flesh evident in Cain, Anger, Self pity, Murder and so on which we can read more about in Galatians Ch 5 V 16 – 21. Also we can read about the fruit of the spirit from Galatians Ch 5 V 22 – 26. – (See also Matthew Ch 12 – V 33 – 35.)

 

When we worship in Spirit and Truth freedom comes, Healing comes, Darkness flees, Salvation flows, The Glory shows.

These are some of the fruit of worship if I can call them that, For worship is linked with the fruit of the spirit, Also the gifts of the spirit, With praying without ceasing.

 

For worship is a lifestyle, An attitude of heart as with prayer.

 

I find personally that most revelation comes with worship and/or prayer.

 

So lets us worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth for we do not need a special place/building/temple for we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, Our hearts being the place where God has chosen to live if we truly abide in him and him in us.

 

Remember worship can be silent or loud – Can take many forms so let us not look down at others and say they are not worshiping properly because they are not doing it our/my way, For then we are not worshiping in Spirit and truth for we should be worshiping the Lord ourselves instead of looking at others.

For we can be as much in the flesh by jumping/dancing around as well as sitting silent with our eyes closed – Who are we to judge others for only God knows our/others hearts, Knows those who truly worship in Spirit and truth.

 

And the Glory will be there as we worship in Spirit And Truth.
