GREEN LAND.

 

The Lord gave me this in the prayer meeting 4/12/96.

This was a spoken word.

This is just as much as I can remember plus the application.

 

I can see a picture of a desert all dry and dead.

I can see that there is a lot of seed under the ground that has been there for years.  It looks all dead.

There has just been a shower of rain.

As I look closer I can the first signs of life beginning to show.

I can see small flowers beginning to appear in the desert like you get after a shower in the desert.

Soon the desert is a mass of colour with lots of plants and flowers everywhere. 

Everything comes to life in a desert after a shower then dies again because in the natural desert there may be many years before another shower comes.

But I can see that the showers just keep on coming and what would turned back to desert becomes a meadow and then a forest with animals appearing and children playing.

For this to happen to a desert in the natural there would have to be a change in the climate for this to happen.

In the past there have been showers in this land like the Welsh revival,  The revival in the Hebrides and the Methodist revival but these died because they were only showers in a dry land. 

These revivals were the desert coming to life where the shower fell but the life that came soon died because the climate in the county as a whole had not changed.

I can see that there is coming a change in the spiritual climate of this land. 

Instead of just showers in a sun scorched land there will be more general rain because the climate has changed,  then the seed that is in the ground and forgotten will come to life and not die like it has in the past but will grow to become a meadow then a forest full of life.

 ( The children and animals )

Then this land will be a green and pleasant land before the Lord.
