Are we sheep or goats?

Sheep and the Goats.

M't:25:31: When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

M't:25:32: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

M't:25:33: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

M't:25:34: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

M't:25:35: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

M't:25:36: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

M't:25:37: Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

M't:25:38: When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

M't:25:39: Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

M't:25:40: And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

M't:25:41: Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

M't:25:42: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

M't:25:43: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

M't:25:44: Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

M't:25:45: Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

M't:25:46: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Where do we stand? Are we sheep or goats?  Are we building for ourselves?  Thinking we are doing the Lords work but are really serving ourselves.  Serving our man made houses be it what ever we like to name it.

House fellowship, Cell church, Roman Catholic, Pentecostal, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Free Church, Independent fellowship, Evangelical, Fundamentalist, Liberal and many more.

Each one with its own rules and doctrines.

Each one thinking in their hearts that we are Gods true church and all others are out of the will of God and need to be converted to our cause.

Many today getting together so they can influence others to become like them and all the time watering the gospel down so as not to upset anybody.

I heard someone say just recently that it does not matter what system we use as long as it gets bums on seats.

Many ministries big and small today are looking to make a name themselves.  Looking to be number one, To be better than others in Christianity. Heaping grander titles upon themselves.

Pride has come in a big way and many don’t know it, Our hearts being deceived by its wants and desires.

Saying in our hearts look at what we are building for Christ.

But when water and wind comes the sand will be washed away.

The Lord said that we should not do as the gentiles do,  Should not be lording over each other.  But what do we go and do,  Look to the world for our programs and ministry strategies.  Look for ways to put ourselves above others.

It may look good and efficient in our eyes, Get the numbers in but this should not be amongst us.

This makes weak christens at best and leaves many unsaved among us thinking that they are ok.

Someone said to me “But I like titles and being in charge”

I heard another say “I hear God better than you,  That why I am in charge”.

“We are going to the biggest church in town and everybody else will follow us”.

Comments like this reveal the real hearts of those persons, Hearts of pride.

In the mean time many are being hurt and killed. The sheep are being trampled underfoot.  The poor being let down, Ignored and pushed aside or just counted as a number on a seat, To be milked so the ministry organization can grow fat on their meat.

And all done in the name of Jesus Christ.

Are We sheep or goats?

In which shoes do we stand?  Our own big boots or are we shod with the gospel of Christ.

When the Son of God comes to call us to give account which side shall he place us on,  Right or Left, Sheep or Goats.

Will he say to us “Well done my good and faithful servants, Enter into your Eternal rest, Enter into your inheritance my people.

For you fed me when I was hungry,  Visited me when I was in prison,  Came and healed me when was ill.

For as you did it for the least of these my bothers, You did it unto me”.

Or will he say “Depart from me ye cursed into eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

For I was hungry and you did not feed me, Sick and you did not come to heal me,

In prison and you did not visit me”.

Then it would be to late and a waste of time trying to argue with him.

For the very fact that we are trying to argue with him proves that we are out of the will of the Lord.

That we are still trying to justify yourselves before the Lord just as we tried to justify our actions before men when on earth.

Boasting about good we are,  About how good our ministry is.

How do we treat others around us?  How do we treat our brothers and sisters?

Do we ignore them.  Do we use them for our own good. Cut them off in our pride.

Do we just speak to them or visit them when we want them to do something for us.

Search your hearts, For we have all done things like this at times.

Remember the world around us can see if we are true or not,  Can see if we really love our bothers and sisters.

Remember the Lord said “That it will be by the love that you show for each other that all men will be drawn unto me”

Or do they see us biting and hurting each other. Divided against each other.  The house of God broken down by our actions.

Broken by our goat like behaviour.

Where do we stand?  Are we sheep or goats?

Examine your hearts this day.  Enquire of the Lord.

Repent before its to late.

Come let us reason together says the Lord.  For even though your sins be red as scarlet.  They shall be white as snow.

Come Speak with me.  Come repent. For I want none to perish but all to have life eternal.

Do not use the gifts that I have given you to look good in the eyes of men,  Using them to build your own houses.

But use them in the service of others. To build them up. So I may build my church in them.

So that they will be set free into what I would have them do for my Kingdom Says the Lord.
