Phone box dream.

This dream was very vivid.

During a half hour nap I dreamt that I went into town to make a phone call.

I walked slowly on my crutches to this old red phone box and went inside to make a call.

But the number I had did not work and there were others waiting to use the phone box.

So I walked out of that phone box and was walking normally without my sticks as I did not need them.

I was so excited at this happening.

So I put my sticks under my arm to take them home all the while nearly knocking people down as I turned round as they were long sticks.

( This seemed/looked quite funny to me ).

Now years ago all phone boxes in the UK used to be painted red – Now you would only find one like this in a museum.

And why would I need to walk to a phone box as I have my land line at home and a cell phone as well.

What stood out was the colour of the box being red which spoke to me about the blood and healing in the blood and the atonement.

Here’s a reply to above dream.

Comments by Kathie Luther:

Usually a phone booth or phone means spiritual communication or prayer.

By not using the available, readily accessible phones in the home, it means a special prayer effort, one that is painful and costs something to do.

I agree with Dave about the red meaning the Blood of Jesus thru which all healing and answers to prayer comes as Jesus is our only Mediator.

Also, red means war or passion.

I know Dave has real crutches since his surgery, but crutches are symbolic of anything we lean on, excuses, usually meaning "lame excuses".

Since Dave gets prophetic messages from the Lord, this is likely what this dream is.

We must all bring our lame spiritual excuses to the Lord in prayer, all our old crutches or habits that we have leaned on, anything that was not trusting in the Lord with all of our hearts. Things that prevented full time service to the Lord.

The number that did not work would be 'dialling up' in the flesh, a fleshly prayer never works. Yet, thru the mercy of God, Dave was healed.

By merely making an special effort, a sacrificial prayer thru the Blood of Jesus, carnality is over ruled, the Spirit helps us in intercession, our infirmity in prayer is made strong thru Him.

Many others are waiting to make the same prayer, that is why I don't think this is just for Dave, but a prophetic word for the church.

The crutches were as long as the old habits and excuses are long. "Turning around" is a phrase that means repentance.

Notice Dave turns around AFTER he puts the crutches under his arm.

Arms are weapons, armaments, symbolic of warfare in the spirit here.

Right arm is the Word of God or the Sword of the Spirit, left arm is the Shield of Faith.

So the crutches have been covered by warfare, and are now under control.

They will not ever be needed again! They can be taken home and left as a reminder to never lean on the arms of flesh again, but to take everything to the Lord in prayer and He alone will hear and answer.

This is a prophetic picture of the healing of the prayer life of the church.

Back to the Good Old Testament Days, the old fashioned prayer that is never out of date nor should it be ever displayed in a museum.

THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN AVAILETH MUCH!

This does cost us, it costs us a self-humbling, sometimes a painful thing to get rid of pride. Pride leans on to the arm of flesh, holds on to the lame excuses, to the old ways.

Let us all examine ourselves for this type of crutch.

Let us ever hold the crutch out as a reminder to self to pray in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

The Lord has also given me prophetic messages concerning the prayer life of the church. Years ago, He showed me that it was lukewarm, shallow, AND HOLLOW! OUCH! Let us ask self:

WHAT IS DEEP PRAYER? What is fervent effectual prayer? How do I pray with real passion? DO I JUST PRAY MY LISTS OR DO I LEAN ON THE HOLY SPIRIT? Do I pray the Word of God in faith [using both arms] or do I pray my own words and my own will?

May this be a challenge to us all,

Love in Jesus,
