Meeting together.

For the body of Christ – Message given on 3^rd October 2004.

 

Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, But let us meet/greet and see each other all the more during these last days.

 

Let us meet/greet each other in our homes, Meet/greet each other upon the streets, Within shops, Greet others upon the highways and byways.

 

Prophetic word.

 

Let world see the love that I have placed inside you for each other by the filling of the Holy Spirit.

 

Be careful that you don’t fall into the worlds ways of being to busy. Fall into the worlds trap of having no time for those whom it considers useless and under it/them. Fall into that trap of just walking past because you disagree over silly little unimportant thing that you find important.

For that is a sign of hidden pride within your heart.

 

Yes do not walk way from each other for I did not walk away from you when you were lost in sin and under the spirit of death.

 

For just as I gave up my life for you so I would have you all to give your lives for each other, Forgiving each other just as I forgave you all when I was on the cross.

 

So do not walk past each other.  Do not ignore each other saying in your hearts that you have no time, Are to busy or because you disagree over a man made doctrine.

Remember that you all see but only through a glass darkly.

 

For I remind you that I did not walk away and ignore you when you all were lost in your sin and captive to the spirit of death.

 

So do not give up meeting and greeting each other where ever you see your bothers and sisters but may you meet and greet them all more, So that those that do as yet see me may see me in you and believe in me as the day of my coming draws closer.

 

For it is by the love that you show each that many will be draw into me.

 

Love each other as I love you.

Many think that meeting together is just for fellowship meetings, But its much more than that.

This is about every part of our lives.  Where ever we are and what ever we are doing.

Today we live in an age which promotes isolationism, Every man for himself and using others just to get ahead make money and so on.

 

Its part of the culture, Being one of those rules (if I can call it that) that people conform to without knowing their doing it along with many other things.

 

As we live in this culture we can easily be swept along with it without knowing we are doing it, For we were born into its ways.

Jesus told us that we are in the world, But not part of it, Part of its culture.

 

So may we ask the Lord where we are conforming to this worlds culture.

May we stop and hear what his still small voice is saying to us amongst the noise of this world.

May we then repent of being caught up in this worlds culture and be set free by the Lord.

Then may we ask the Holy Spirit to guard our hearts so that we keep small accounts with the Lord and each other so that our feet do not slip back into the worlds culture without knowing it, For this can happen so very slowly being there is so much pressure upon us to compromise.

 

May we be conformed to Christ’s Kingdom.  Let our every thought and action be conformed in Christ.

 

Let us not give up meeting/greeting/helping/forgiving each other, But let us do it all the more as the Day of the Lord comes closer.

May the light of Christ shine from within our hearts.

May others believe because of the love we show for our brothers and sisters.
