THE SHEEP FARMS

 

Many fellowships are just like sheep farms – Where they just strip the sheep – Just want the sheep for their wool and meat.

Where the sick are just put down by the farmers.

 

And when they outlived their usefulness’ they are discarded or killed – Cast out to die without food or water.

 

True shepherds care for the sheep – Just look at Jesus our great shepherd.

 

Real shepherds look for the lost ones - But many today are more interested in the 99 in their sheep pens and do not care for the one.

In fact I say if they don’t care for the one then how can they care for the 99 ether.

They are only interested in numbers – interested in who’s got the biggest sheep farm – Competing with each other just like many companies in the business world - Interested in building the biggest sheep farm empire.

 

The little ones are just trampled under foot or taken over – Forced to conform and be like another clone in their camps.

 

If anyone tries to escape then the sheep farmers send the dogs of doctrine and use fear to bring the sheep back in line.

 

Jesus went after the ones – yes he went and brought salvation and healing to the lost ones - Let us do the same for we were that one he came to rescue from the pit of sin we had fallen into.

 

Yes Jesus paid with his life to rescue the lost ones – To rescue us from becoming roast lambs.

 

Let us care for the lost ones in the same way he cared for us when we were lost.

 

There are many good fellowships as well – Many true shepherds.

 

These are those who go after the ones without regard to their own lives – Who give to bless – Give without condition – Whose right hand does not know what their left hand is doing.

 

Who lay their lives on the line for those they do not know.

Numbers mean nothing to them.

 

For they visited the lost ones in prison – Healed them when they were sick – Gave food when they were hungry – Yes even gave their coats to those without clothes – Walked that extra mile.

 

For they gave the word freely with much mercy – For in the same way they received mercy from the Lord – They gave the Lords Mercy into others – Even if meant losing their lives – For they loved not their own lives even unto death.

 

Let us learn from our great shepherd Jesus Christ – Who is the way – The truth – The light.

 

Yes don’t keep your light under a bucket – But let it shine from the hill tops for all to see.

 

For on the Last day the Lord would say to such as these – Well done my faithful servants – You gave with mercy – Gave water to the needy – Visited the prisoner – Healed the sick – Because you did it for the least of these – You did it unto me.
