OBEDIENCE - SERVING.

 

If you are obedient to the Word of the Lord – If you serve without measure – Without counting the cost in all things – It shall be given unto you – Shaken together – Pressed down – Running over.

 

With the same measure you serve and bless – It shall be measured unto you.

 

For those who give up their ways – Give up their life in obedience to my Word – Give up their lives to serve others – Will find life without measure.

 

He who gives up his life in the service of the Lord will find life – But he who holds on to his life will lose his life.

 

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord – How lovely are the feet of those who bring good news – Who serves his brothers without need unto himself.

 

For in the same way Christ gave up his life upon the cross for you – Gave his life that you may have life – Let it be so with you all.

 

For it is better to gave than receive – Let us be cheerful givers and servers in all things.

The above doe’s not mean just money.

 

Many today give to get – Give to receive more - Give with wrong motives - Give under compulsion – Give because they are told to – Give because of fear and guilt placed on them by religious men.

Give for fear of losing their salvation.

 

It says in the Word the God loves a cheerful giver – Much giving today is done under rules made of men who use the whips guilt – Fear and Condemnation – Using these whips to Manipulate the people in much the same way the Catholic Church did before the reformation - Only today it’s done far more cunningly.

 

If you look in New Testament at how the people gave and served – You will find that it’s not as it is today.

 

They gave to and served each other – Gave to and served the poor in their midst – Their right hands did not know what their left hands were doing.

 

When Christ was in the temple the rich were showing off how much they gave – But in the middle of all this along came a widow who secretly gave all her small coins into the collection – Christ pointed her out to his disciples – She has given more than all the others for she had given all.

 

Later Christ took a whip and cleared out the moneychangers from the temple for they were ripping off the people – Putting burdens on the people.

There are those today doing the same who are feeding off the people using people’s ignorance of the Word to do so.

 

The spirit of the world having got into the church as it has in many things in the west.

 

Let us study the Word – Let us ask Christ to show us his way – Let us follow the Holy Spirits prompting and then we will be cheerful givers and servers by being obedient to the Word of the Lord.

 

Let it be so today as it is in the Word – As Christ commanded.
