FEAR NOT

FEAR NOT.

Fear not – Go forward – Preach the gospel unto the people.

Today there are so many words being given about how the world is going to end, So many people arguing/debating about these so called end time words of coming judgement.

Most of which are political in content, Are cursing the land – Its as if they want these things to happen without mercy or love.

Remember mercy triumphs over judgement.

( I believe there are genuine words as well ).

So many are looking at the sky waiting to see the Lord return, Waiting to see if they can see the Lord first before the next man so they can claim, “We saw him first, We were right about the end, All the rest are wrong”.

Many today are running around in fear and spreading fear because they have been caught up with the world in the spirit of fear and speculation and don’t know it.

They don’t know what spirit they are of.

Caught up in the same spirit the drives the mass media –TV/radio/internet and so.

When the disciples were with Jesus just before he was taken up into heaven they asked him – “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom of Israel” ?

He said to them: - “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; And you will be my witness in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, And to ends of the earth”.

After he said this, He was taken up before their eyes, And a cloud hid him from their sight.

They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, When suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.

“Men of Galilee,” They said, “Why do you stand here looking into the sky?

This same Jesus , Who has been taken from you into heaven, Will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

In a nut-shell they were saying – “What are you doing standing around here thinking/speculating on how and what will happen when he comes back.

Stop standing around and get on with what he has told you OK”.

The Lord knew what they were prone to – That would start arguing about what was what and so on – Remember he had trouble with them before when they argued about who of them was the greatest, About positions (which is going on in big way at the moment) – This time it would have been about how he would come back.

(That was neat of the Lord to send two angels)

They then did as the Lord told them – Power came on them in the upper room as they were in one accord and they went forward preaching the gospel on the streets with the Lord confirming his word before them with signs following.

As they did – So should we.

Instead of intently looking and arguing/speculating which brings division among us AND stops the lost from hearing the gospel – Which is what the devil wants.

Let us go forward and carry out the great commission.

Preach the gospel, Healing the sick, Casting out demons, and caring for each other having true love as the Lord has true love us, Giving our lives for others as the Lord Gave his life for us.

Remember what the Lord said about not caring – He said those that speak without love are just a lot of noise, That even if you give your body to the flames without love then it counts as nothing.

He warned us that there would be those who would say to him on the day of judgement, “Lord we prophesied in your name, We cast out demons in your name”.

But he will say to them “Depart from me you workers of evil. For you did not visit the sick. You did not give water to the thirsty. Did not show real love and caring. All you really cared about was looking good in the sight of men, All you were doing was making the gospel into a business, Building your own kingdoms”.

So let us stop arguing/speculating about what’s going to happen at the end. For we know what’s going to happen, Its in the book of revelation.

Let go forward into the streets in true unity and love preaching the gospel to the lost. Then the Lord will confirm his word with signs following. People will be saved. Healed, Set free in Jesus name.

And then the end will come in the way and the time the Father has set by his own authority.

Fear not – Go forwards and preach the gospel.
