Serving each other.

We must serve each other in the same way that the Lord served us when he was upon the earth, The same way that he taught the 12 disciples and friends to serve others first without expecting anything back in return.

A good example of this is with the feeding of the five thousand when all they had was some bread and fish. When Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes and had them go and feed the people.

They just obeyed the Lord when he told them to go and feed the people.

When they had finished doing this I believe he asked if they had eaten.

They said that they had not so Jesus said to them to gather together all the leftovers.

There was quite a few baskets left over for them.

So we see that because they did as Jesus taught them they were blessed with much abundance, Their cups overflowed with the blessing that the Lord gives when they did as he taught them.

We must give what we have to others without thinking of what we are going to get out of it for ourselves.

We must use our gifts that we have in the service of others to build them up as the Lord would have us to do even if we do not get anything in return and at times we may not get anything in return but the Lord would have us give anyway for that is the way of the Lord.

We must give what we have in the service of others yes we must give our all for each other in the same way that the Lord gave his all for us when he went to cross.

For the one who serves others without thinking what he can get out of it for himself in the kingdom of God is the greatest.

Those that are in leadership should be the greatest servants in the church.

The authority that they have coming from the servants heart within - For he who humbles himself to serve others in my name is the greatest in my kingdom says the Lord.

Let us serve others with gladness.

This came as I was watching a cartoon on the feeding of the five thousand.
