THE OLD POT.

This morning as I got up to come to the prayer meeting this came.

I can see a pot, its a misshapen pot that is scratched and damaged.

This pot is not much good for anything except to be thrown away onto the rubbish heap for the clay has become hard, old and brittle.

The damaged pot is being picked up and put onto a potters wheel.

I can see the potters hands sprinkling water onto the damaged pot to soften the hardened clay.

The water that the potter is using is not like ordinary water for ordinary water would not soften clay that has gone hard and brittle.

The water the potter is using is living water.

I can see this living water beginning to soften the pot to make the clay new again so that the potter can make a new pot out of the clay.

The living water is making all things new.

I can see that the potter is now working on the now made new clay sprinkling more living water onto it as he does so.

I can see a new and perfectly formed pot being made upon the wheel.

A pot fit for the masters use.

A pot ready to be filled with the very living water that the potter used to soften the old hard clay to bring life back to it.

This is what the Lord is going to do for this land that has for so long being hard against the Word of the Lord.

For the Lord would say unto you that I am going to make all things new in this land that is old, hard and brittle like the pot that is only fit to be thrown away.

For the Lord is going to sprinkle his living water upon this land to soften and make it ready for the masters hand to work on just like the old pot.

For I am going to make all things new says the Lord.

For the Lord is making this land ready to pour out his spirit in this place.

For this land shall once again be made fit for the masters use like the pot for I am a God of mercy.

Like the hard old pot that is fit only to be put on the rubbish heap the Lord will pick you up and make you into a pot ready for me to pour my glory into says the Lord.

A pot fit for the masters use.
