GLASS BOTTLE.

 

I had a picture of glass beaker with liquid in it.

There is a light behind it.

The liquid was made up of many layers.  Each layer was a different colour.  A gas flame was applied to the bottom of the beaker.

As the many coloured liquid was heated up the coloured layers became mixed and the liquid became clear so that the light behind it could shine through it in all its glory.

 

The glass beaker is the church.

The many coloured layers with the glass beaker are the denominations within the church.

The light is the Glory of the Lord.

The flame at the bottom is the Holy Spirit.

 

As the Holy Spirit is poured out upon the church ( the flame ) the differences that there has been between us will disappear ( the layers ) so the Glory of the Lord will shine through his church ( the light ) and the world will see Jesus and not the differences ( the coloured layers ) as they do now and we will be truly one in Christ even though we are meeting in different buildings and may worship the Lord in different ways.

It says in the Word that the Lord has prayed  we shall be one as he is one with the father and the Spirit.
